Sloths & Unicorns were plentiful!
As were nerf guns and fishing poles!
And we made another saran wrap ball this year - this is always hilarious to watch!
Michael and his brothers and their grandmother.
After presents were opened the boys headed to the marble game while the girls decided to decorate cookies for Santa. Emma baked sugar cookies and brought stuff to decorate them for everyone!
Cookies definitely worthy of Santa!
Christmas Day came very early!! Aaron was up at 3:30AM - thankfully he went back to bed, but in my bed, which meant I didn't really sleep much after that! LOL
I've noticed my camera snaps are so much fewer these days - I know it's bc I am more in the moment, which I love, but also realize I'm missing out on capturing these memories - gotta get back to taking more pictures...but here are the few we have from Christmas morning! It was still dark outside when Emma came and got us all out of bed!!!
Aaron patiently waiting!
He still looks sleepy!
I love games they can play together so I was thrilled when that was on their list, too!
This was really the only thing he asked for consistently and when he tore the corner and saw it (an Xbox) he immediately dropped it and ran over and gave hugs. He was so happy...and I'll admit his gratitude had me a little teary!
We always go out for breakfast in our PJs (well the kids anyway) on Christmas Day. This year it was just Emma sporting her onesie! LOL
When we got back I got this beautiful ribeye roast in the oven for our dinner and the kids played all day with their friends outside until movie time!
Christmas Day always means a trip to the movies, too and this year we went to see Aquaman with friends! It was a packed house!!
We did miss having Geddo & Teta over for Christmas Day lunch since they've moved back home...but they had a houseful! Since all my siblings are up in ETx they were all there for Christmas Day breakfast!! And we're headed up in a couple days for Christmas with my side of the family and to spend a few days at their house!! We can't wait!!
