I was off Friday so I met up with the kids at school for lunch! So thankful their lunch is only 5 minutes apart this year, so I get to sit with both of them together to eat...last year I had an hour wait between their lunchtimes!!
Saturday morning started very early - it was picture day at the ball park and since we had an early game we had an even earlier picture time slot!! And it was c-c-c-cold!! I think Houston forgot that Spring has arrived...
Pictures went well, though and the boys played an awesome game winning 13-1!! Our entire lineup has stepped up batting this season - so proud to see how well they are doing!
Aaron with a double!
Rounding 3rd, coming home!
Another one in the outfield!
I barely saw the end of the game before Emma and I had to jet - she had a Pulse competition that we had to get to! Daddy and Aaron had time to run home and change and made it just before the concert started.
Technically we weren't allowed to video or take pictures, but I did get a couple while they were warming up...beyond xylophone (which you see in the background) they do a fun, and quite amazing, bucket piece!! Buckets!!
After the performance we had to rush back to our side of town for a very chilly birthday party at the park...the kids didn't care in the least, though - they had a blast!!!
The night ended with friends and poker at our house!!! Then Sunday started another full day! Up early for church and then making our way down to Minute Maid - Emma's Choir sang the National Anthem! Then is the 2nd time she's had this opportunity and it is awesome to see & hear! A memory she'll always enjoy for sure!
One of Aaron's teammates' sister sings with Emma (and many of her friends, of course), so we had baseball friends and choir friends with us at the game!
Waiting to see the choir come out!
They gave away posters - it's so amazing coming back to see the Astros play this season as the World Series Champs! Can't wait to see them do it again!
A drastic zoom in shot on the screen! LOL
And more photo ops!
Teammates - friends for life!
Love these two so much!!!
