Saturday morning was our last day in Florida...so I wanted to make the most of it and get to Animal Kingdom early so we could do as much as possible before we had to leave for the airport and head back to Houston.
I just knew that Aaron was going to LOVE Animal Kingdom. He has the biggest heart for animals - more than any kid I know. Just like every other day on our vacation we had a wonderful time at Animal Kingdom and every turn had something new and cool!
So here goes...I got so many pics this last day!!
The very first ride we went on was called Dinosaur...and oh my goodness, it was a rough ride, too! What a way to wake up first thing in the morning!!
We took a quick train ride over to Rafiki's Planet...
We did a little bone diggin, too...
Aaron had fun on this ride because he could control it going up and down and tilting - he thought tat was super cool - I can't remember the ride name, though!
So...we rode it a few times!
We had reservations at Tusker House and SURPRISE...another character dinner! I am telling you I had many surprises for this trip!!
After our meal we headed to the Kilimanjaro Safari! This was awesome! I didn't get great pictures because somehow it turned out that all the animals were on Michael's side of the jeep we were riding in!!! How does that happen? I did get a good view of the giraffes, though.
I had to squeeze my camera through to get any shots, so you'll see some frames on most of these.
After the safari we didn't have a lot of time left before we had to leave...we made a couple more rides and shows, which were all great, took a pretzel and lemonade break, and even took a selfie break!
Then we were off...headed to the airport and back home. Orlando airport is spread out so you have to ride a monorail, chalk it up to one more ride!! LOL
Boarded and headed home...
Chasing the sun back to Texas!
What a wonderful family vacation we had!!! I cannot wait to take the kids back again...maybe next time we'll hit up Disneyland in California instead!! So blessed to have been able to do this with our family!!!
