I'm going to have to play catch up and do 4 days at once!!!

Day 1: Introduce, Recent Picture & 15 Interesting Facts...
Well, my name is Hanna and I turned 33 last month (YIKES!). I am married to Michael & we have two beautiful children - Emma & Aaron.
I'm usually the one taking the pics so there really aren't many recent pictures of me...but here I am:
I graduated from college in 1999 from Stephen F. Austin with a BBA & then after I married in 2004 finally went back to finish my MBA, which I got from Sam Houston - it's funny b/c they are actually rival schools!! As an undergrad I actually minored in Art & that's where I fell in love with photography. After graduating from college in 1999 I found myself in Houston in the Oil & Gas industry & have been with the same company for 10 years now.

So...15 interesting facts:
  1. I am half Egyptian
  2. I was Salutatorian of my HS class (my niece was actually Valedictorian)
  3. I have 4 siblings
  4. I have 16 nieces & nephews
  5. I have 13 great- nieces & nephews
  6. I love Sushi - really I love most Asian food
  7. I have 3 tattoos
  8. I've climbed on the pyramids
  9. I've been to Park Guell
  10. I've seen the David in Italy
  11. I have broken both my arms...and a finger
  12. I suffer from migraines - since I was 4 years old
  13. I've snorkeled in the Red Sea
  14. I'm named after my Grand-father (Hanna is masculine in Egypt)
  15. I'm a Christian
Day 2: Meaning Behind Your Blog Name

My nickname is MishMish - it means Apricot in Egyptian & that's what my father has always called me. So, that's the name I usually use online & where MishMish.Org came from, but Daily Venting & Exclamations is actually just something I came up with from no where really. When I created my first blog in 1999 and got to the part where it asked for a name I didn't just want to call it MishMish...and I figured it would be a place that I can to Vent sometimes and to Exclaim great things that happened some times...so hence, Daily Venting & Exclamations...

Day 3: Your First Love

I think the first boy I ever cried over was in Jr. High - isn't that ridiculous that we start crying over broken hearts that early. But at that age, I don't know that it was really love. I think by the time I started college though I could honestly say that did love my HS boyfriend - JS. Our ways parted after I went off to college and today I consider him a friend b/c he really is a good man - though we rarely see one another. He has two lovely kids of his own now, too.

But more importantly is my last love - and that's my honey...Michael!!!

Day 4: Your Parents

I have two of the most amazing parents:
In 2006 when I was pregnant with my first child we thought we were going to lose my mom. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer...but God knew it wasn't time for her to leave us and she beat it!!! And has been cancer free ever since! She and my father are Teta & Geddo to my kiddos - that is Egyptian for Grandmother & Grandfather. He came to the U.S. from Egypt when he was about 30 years old, though they actually met before that when Mother lived in Egypt. We love them very much!! I think I can easily say my mother is one of my best friends - we talk every day - though I think in life I'm a bit more like my father! I know I look more like him!! LOL!
