Last weekend we took Aaron on his first road trip. Thursday Emma had an Easter Party at the babysitter's house & all the kids got Easter baskets and got to hunt Easter eggs - Emma is becoming a pro at hunting eggs. I think she's had about six egg hunts since last weekend!! After the Easter party was over with we headed home to get on the road. Aaron got to meet Grannie for the first time that evening - though he was sound asleep at their first meeting!! LOLI was excited to see Grannie myself - it had been a few months since I had seen her! She looked so great! Michael took Friday off so we had a nice long weekend & we had a great time. Michael went fishing and we rode the four-wheeler, (Aaron had his first ride on the four-wheeler)...We had another Easter egg hunt and got to dye Easter eggs...(we found old t-shirts for Emma & Kinley to wear to dye eggs - Emma patiently waited for us to get it all set up...)
After we had a great evening playing cards & 10,000 with my brother and SIL. We did have a bit of work to do during the day, too but it was kinda fun too b/c we had a bonfire! Boys love to burn things!!
The weekend was beautiful and we spent most of it outside...Sunday was a little overcast, but still nice! We got up and dressed for church and I got everyone together and still for a couple seconds to take a few family pictures. I do not like pictures of myself...ever...but I also wish I had more pictures of me with my kiddos, too. Mostly they are all with their daddy - which he just luuuvs!! :) I also snapped one of Aaron & Grannie (before I got Aaron dressed) and then a couple of the kids and their Teta (Geddo wasn't able to join us this weekend & we really missed him).
After snapping a few quick pictures we headed to church and it was a great Easter service, too. The church was packed, too and our family alone took up about three pews and that was with only a small portion of us there. There were a lot of people that came back home for the Easter weekend so it was great to catch up with everyone and see their kids all grown up! I didn't get any pictures (sadly) of the church Easter egg hunt b/c I had Aaron in my arms the whole time, but it was so cool to see the kids all over the church lawn & to see my little girl out there with all the kids at the church I grew up in. Next year her little brother will be big enough to be out there with her!
