Happy Birthday Steven!!

From our family to yours...

Eating well...

Emma and I had our two week check ups on Monday. She has gained a whole pound from her birth weight! She was 7lbs 12oz when she was born and then went to 7lbs 5oz before we left the hospital. At her check up on Monday she was 8lbs 12oz!! She's a healthy eater!!

Michael is taking off 1/2 day today so we can finish up our Christmas shopping. I have ordered a couple things online and I am really scared they aren't going to make it here in time for Christmas. Yikes! We still have so much to get still - we hardly have any of our shopping done. Every year I say that I am going to get it done early and that never happens! Granted this year I have a slight excuse! Ha ha!

My  dad left yesterday for Florida with his brother from California. Their other brother that still lives in Egypt is there having major bypass surgery so they are going there to be with him and his wife. I understand why they have to go, but it also means that daddy is probably going to miss Christmas this year. He'…

Baby Girl

This was just after her bath...I was worried, but turns out she really enjoyed it! She was so calm the entire time and just looked around the whole time!!!

Emma Grace

Well...we're home! We got to bring our baby girl home on Tuesday - she was 2 days old!! Life has certainly changed for us, but it's wonderful! She is so beautiful!!!!

She had a hard time getting here, though. We were one push away from a c-section, but on the last attempt she made it here! I was so thankful! Michael was so wonderful during delivery. He was such an amazing support for me. I rknow I couldn't have done it without him. He's being a amazing daddy, too! My mother was in there with us as well and she really helped me stay calm & get through it all, too. She actually used to work L&D when she was nursing. She was so proud of all of us!

Emma is really a good baby - she can sleep through anything!! We've had all kinds of company & the TV going and everything and she just sleeps away! Being three weeks early she missed out on the last few weeks of sleeping and growing in the womb so I guess she is making up for it now!

I am doing pretty well, too. I …

7 lb. 12 oz - 21" long

Emma is here

It's just ice...

No, not outside! Emma has really been a pretty calm baby & I haven't really noticed one thing in particular that she reacts to...until now! ICE! When I chew ice she starts going crazy!!! After just a few pieces she starts jumping all over the place! I don't know if it's b/c it's just cold or if she really likes it or what, but it definitely gets her active!!!
