Passing the last few minutes before 5:00!!

Argh! I hate to leave for the weekend when I am not at a good stopping poing. The data I received from the shorebase today isn't correct. I did everything I could with it, but it wasn't right...so I sent it back to them to make corrections. That was like half and hour ago! Where are you guys!?!? I wanted to at least get this step corrected BEFORE leaving today!

Oh well...

My parents had a wreck earlier today...they are fine, don't worry! The Excursion might be totalled, which I guess would be better than having it in the shop for weeks to come back and have issues for the rest of the time they own the vehicle. Some guy just ran a red light...and he must have been going very fast b/c he was in a little truck, like and S10 or Ranger or something and he hit my parents in the side, spun them around once or twice, pushed them across onto the divider, and put them up on one side before they bounced back down. Mother swears that she is fine. It hit on her side. In the rear door, though.

Also, my cousin who had the biopsy got the all clear today. The mass they saw on his kidney was just a cyst and the doctor said they rarely can turn into cancer. So, he is excited!!! And we're all relieved, too!

I am having problems accessing my server for some reason. I can post without a problem, but several times today I have tried to upload a couple of images and when I try to connect via my FTP program I get an error message. Oh well...I don't feel like worrying with it anymore. It's close enough to five o'clock, I think I'll go home!!

Friday Five

1. Are you going to school this year? Nope!

2. If yes, where are you going (high school, college, etc.)? If no, when did you graduate? Hs - 1995; College - 1999

3. What are/were your favorite school subjects? Accounting and Business Ethics - and ALL of my art classes!

4. What are/were your least favorite school subjects? I hated History. It was the only bad grade I got in school!

5. Have you ever had a favorite teacher? Why was he/she a favorite? Dr. Johnson was awesome! I only had her for a couple of classes, but she was the Chair of the Business Department and was just an amazing lady!

WooHoo!!!

$ Yay! Raises! $

The big wigs came through and gave us our raises before going into the long weekend!! That was mighty nice of them!! Thanks!

I am also happy to report that I had a great dinner last night with Elaine and then we did a quick sweep through Target since it was about to close! I found a cute purse, but since closing time was drawing near I think I might need to make another trip through during lunch today to get a better look at some of the cute new things they have in stock for the new season.

Yeah, the seasons are about to change. I can't believe that summer is already over - though to walk outside here in Houston, you wouldn't really know it! My b'day is in September and as a kid I can remember never getting to have a swimming party b/c it was too cold. By the time my b'day rolled around (the 13th) we already had our pool covered. Now, I think we could be swimming through Halloween! It's been cloudy here and very, very sticky out!

Irritations be gone!!!

Ugh, okay blogchalking and my little sapphire angel are no more! Half the time they weren't showing up and my page took forever to load. I don't know that they were the cause of that, but the simple fact that I saw little broken images more often than my angel and blogchalking icon was irritation enough to be rid of them! And it has taken less time to load each time since!

Weather; Headaches; Pho

The interstate is split...one side is bright and sunny and the other side is dark and it is thundering and lightening!!!! Weather is so cool! The only time I really don't like the rain, though, is when I have to drive in it. I have had a couple of bad experiences driving in really bad rain storms. I'll still venture out if I have to, but I try to avoid it when I can!

I decided a couple of days ago to update my 100 Things, but after I got to about number 79 today, I started to ask why I felt I needed to update it. My current one isn't quite a year old. I created it on 10/23/02. Maybe I should let that be my goal then. To have it finished and published by its one year anniversary. Or maybe I should just forget it and use my current one!!!

My head is starting to throb - can you tell from the random rambling!?!? I had another sick migraine yesterday. Amazingly, though, it didn't last all night. I was laying down by 8:00 after running around with it hurting and as long as I didn't get up and try to move too much, it didn't really hurt that badly. It went through cycles yesterday of excruciating pain and nausea, to mild discomfort.

But it's going to be better by the time I leave. Tonight I'm dining with Madame Cybertoad - we're having Pho! Yay! I haven't had Pho in a long time!! And afterwards I think we're going to assemble a new piece of furniture that she is planning to purchase!!!

YAY!!!

7 POUNDS AND 14 OUNCES - BORN AT 11:42!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS HAILEY AND STEVE!!!

Abigail is on her way...

Well, Miss Abigail is on her way. My niece is in labor at this moment...they think she is going to have the baby around noon today. I think I am going to leave the office around 2:30 or so and pick up Michael and we are going to drive down there to see her. We were going to wait until Saturday, but when I got the call this morning I knew I couldn't wait to see them!! I'll update when the baby is actually born with all the details!

To Cut or Not to Cut!

I have long, naturally curly hair. Very curly and most of the time that's how I wear it - curly. But every once in a while (like today) I use a flat iron and straighten it...well, recently when I straighten it I have begun to notice how bad my split ends are. Uck!!! I think I am going to have to cave and cut a good chunk of it off - at leat four inches or so. I am a chicken, though, so I keep putting it off. Right now it's about four inches from my waist. And I like it long I just can't stand the ends. I found a new stylist that I really like, so I guess I'll have to call sometime and make an appointment...before my b'day! I don't want icky ends on my b'day!

Does anyone know anything about candling...where the twist the hair and singe the stragglies!!! I have heard of it, but I have never seen it done!

Update...

I have the sweetest boyfriend (which I am sure I have mentioned)! Yesterday I got home around 5:40 or so and was tired so I just chilled on the couch for a while. I figured Michael would be there any minute and then I would have to get up and start cooking dinner (the food we bought was all at his house so I was waiting on him to bring it). My minute, though, turned into an hour. Before I knew it the clock read 6:45 and I was starting to wonder where he was. He didn't have to stop for anything - we had gone grocery shopping on Sunday. So I decided to give him and call and see where he was, but I got his voice mail. At first I was a little worried, but then decided that he must be driving up and that's why he didn't answer...so I walked out into the garage to get the garden hose to water my plants and sure enough there he was parking his car!! He got out of the car and I saw a bouquet of flowers in his hand. He said, "What are you doing out here, you spoiled the surprise!!!" Believe me, it wasn't the least bit spoiled - though I may be getting that way!! It was so sweet!

Tonight we're going to watch the baseball game. I have been trying to get my mother to one of the games. She hasn't seen Minute Maid park yet and wants to go, but every time we go she can't. She can't make it tonight b/c my aunt and uncle and Grannie are coming into town. My aunt and uncle are coming to see my cousin. He is having a biopsy tomorrow - they found a mass on his kidney and are going in to check it out. Keep him in your thoughts. Also going into the hospital tonight is my niece. We are going to have a new baby girl in the family after tomorrow - Miss Abigail Grace Wooden!

Oh...and last night I put some new pictures on my computer. Some of the pictures were on my Sipix and I couldn't get them to download onto my computer. I don't know what happened. I uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it and I still couldn't get it to read the pictures. So, when I get a chance I am going to have to figure that one out! Grrr...

The weekend was good, though. I didn't win it big (we went to the casino), but Michael did pretty well. He came out better than anyone else. I think he was he only one that came out ahead! I started playing roulette, though. And thoroughly enjoyed it! I wish I had the money to play it longer! I played for a long time going up and down and ended up only being down $5 in the end, so I don't consider that a loss really! I had fun and it didn't cost me too much. The slot machines on the other hand took the rest of my money! I don't have luck at the machines at all...I think from now on I might stick primarily to the tables. I have more fun there anyway!! But, of course, they just might get me in trouble, too! Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep so I was glad that we took off Friday! Saturday felt like Sunday and I was so excited when I realized that I had a whole other day to relax from being at the casino!

Since my family is coming into town tonight we might be going to mother's for dinner on Wednesday, but so far that is the only thing planned for the week...with the exception of the game tonight. We haven't decided if we're here or in East Texas this weekend. We were going up to my sister's place b/c they have a big skeet shoot up there every year, but now a few are going to stay here in Houston since the baby is going to be born tomorrow - so now we're unsure about what we're going to do. An alternate plan was to go visit the baby on Saturday and then keep driving on to Galveston, since they live out in that direction - but who knows! I guess we'll decide as the weekend gets closer!

Second -
I AM OFF TOMORROW!!!!

Yep, taking the day off!! We're going out of town tomorrow afternoon and were just going to take a half day, but decided to take the whole day and have a date night tonight!!! I think we're going to have a nice dinner out and catch a movie! So, I have short-timer's disease, in that I am ready to get out of the office and start my long weekend. Oh, I just realized, that means that I get two long weekends in a row b/c next weekend is also a three day weekend for Labor Day! Woohoo! We'll be gone that weekend, too...or rather part of that weekend.

We were pretty busy the first part of the day, before lunch...and I did go out for lunch today. But this afternoon things are slowing down a bit. I did a lot this morning b/c I wanted to make sure that I didn't leave anything hanging for me to do on Monday...and I have been working with a team on a project this is going to the test phase today, so all my part had to be complete before I left today as well. So, now that I have all that done, there is just menial stuff left for me to do before I get out of here at five!

Maya Angelou

A friend of mine sent me a forward today at work...I keep the good ones and that is what I consider this one. I have always liked Maya Angelou and had the opportunity to see her give a talk once (b'day present from my friend) and thoroughly enjoyed it! I hope you like the following:

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday.
Maya really is a marvel who has led quite an interesting and exciting life.
Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older. And, there ontelevision, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring everyday...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first. The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words. Because of that, I share this....

byMaya Angelou
When I was in my younger days,
I weighed a few pounds less,
I needn't hold my tummy in towear a belted dress.
But now that I am older,
I've set my body free;
There's the comfort of elastic
Where once my waist would be.
Inventor of those high-heeled shoes
My feet have not forgiven;
I have to wear a nine now,
But used to wear a seven.
And how about those pantyhose-
They're sized by weight, you see,
So how come when I put them on The crotch is at my knee?
I need to wear these glasses
As the print's been getting smaller;
And it wasn't very long ago I know that I was taller.
Though my hair has turned to gray
and my skin no longer fits,
On the inside, I'm the same old me,
It's the outsides changed a bit.
But, on a positive note...

Do you have plans for lunch?

I have finished book five and now I don't know how to spend my lunch breaks anymore! I have only been getting to read during lunch lately...that's why it took me so long to finish. And then, I only got to read about thirty minutes b/c half the time was spent getting something to eat and usually having someone come in my office during lunch! When you see me with my head down over a book that means, "Please come talk to me!!" - no I am not being nasty. I enjoy conversating with co-workers, but when I am reading I don't like to be disturbed.

So, now I am at a loss!!! Does this mean that I have to start going out at lunch again??? What to do, What to do!?!? Not only that, but now I have to wait until 2005 to read book six, according to rumors anyway. The first four books came out much faster than that, but I guess that's how she got us hooked!! I know those of you who don't read Harry Potter don't get it, but I really enjoy these books. In the meantime, there is another book that I have been wanting to read. Maybe I'll finally buy it!

Tonight I am missing the H-Town happy hour b/c I already have dinner plans at my mother's. We used to go every Wednesday, but that kind of slowed down. Things were just getting too busy - so we made a bi-monthly thing - or rather a whenever we get the chance kind of thing!!

My site has been playing hide and seek the past couple of days, but I have been told that it isn't a big deal...and hopefully all is well, according to my host.

Hooray!!!

I'M BACK!!! Server has been down!!!

Grey skies...

It's cloudy outside my window today. We're going to see the Astros play tonight and I was hoping for good weather so that they would open the roof at Minute Maid. Oh well, if they leave it closed it will just be cooler!!

Michael and I had a great dinner with Elaine last night at Cafe Red Onion - one of Michael's new favorites now!! He hadn't ventured out much when it came to foods...don't get me wrong. He isn't a picky eater - when it comes to American food, but I like all kinds of foods (japanese being my favorite - sushi) and I have got him to try a few new things...and so far he has loved everything he has tried. I pointed this out to him last night when we left the restaurant! So now he has no excuse not to accompany me to the sushi bar!!!! It might become his favorite too...(doubtful, but you never know)!!

It's Monday...

WooHoo, we're going to see Pat Green at the Pavillion in September for the KILT Fall Fandango! An added bonus is that a friend from HS (we didn't go to the same HS, but met while we were in HS) and I have got in touch with one another recently.

We met about my 10th grade year and were friends, but didn't see one another often. The she went to College Station while I went to Waco for college - we saw each other very little during college, too...then she moved to Houston about the same time as me...but we still only saw one another about twice while she lived here. Now she is in Austin and is as big a Texas Country fan as we are...so she is getting tickets for her and her boyfriend and they are going to come in for the weekend and go with us!!! I can't wait to see her. I think it has been over three years since I saw her. It was while I was at my old job, which I left September of 2000!!! So, I'm going to get to see Pat Green and an old friend at the same time!!! I have never seen Pat Green live before. There is going to be a lot of good Texas Country at this concert!

Weekend Update:
We had a very low-key weekend. It was good, though...Friday we were at Michael's parents' and Sunday we were at my parents' and somewhere in the middle on Saturday we went out to Jillian's to play Putt-Putt! During the day on Saturday we had lunch, but other than that just hung out with the puppies!!!

Week Preview
And our week is already full!!! Tonight we have dinner plans, tomorrow night we're going to a baseball game, Wednesday night we're having dinner for my Grannie's b'day, Thursday is basketball games (his brothers), and Friday we're heading out of town. Whew! And they say that kids keep your running all the time...we don't even have any yet! They might slow us down!!!! LOL!!

It's Friday!!

I got a job and I got sh*t to do!! (via Smokey in Friday)

Thank goodness I have a job. Things have been so crazy around here and now I think we're for sale...sounds weird to think of a huge company like this being for sale. It's not like being listed on har.com or something. Anyway...my resume is updated just in case! Keep your fingers crossed for us!!

Well, being Friday and being five o'clock I think it is time for me to get out of here!!!

So have a great weekend!!!!

Friday Five

1. How much time do you spend online each day? Well, I am in front of a computer everyday at work and get on the web for personal stuff several times during the day

2. What is your browser homepage set to? At work out company intranet, at home to my webpage

3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)? Yahoo Messenger (rarely, though) and MSN

4. Where was your first webpage located? Blogspot - it's still there, but it redirects you. Actually, I think I have a couple pictures on geocities, but I don't know where they are anymore!

5. How long have you had your current website? I started this one in November 2001.

100 Things

Oh...I changed the template from my 100 Things page (and my AboutMe page) (and my Buttons page) (and my FaePeople page). This is a great template that I wouldn't mind using for my main blog page, but I really like all the faery pages/themes and don't want to lose that!!!! So, I might just use it for other pages now b/c it is a really nice template!!!

What do you think!?!?!

Ugh...

I'm here, but not really. I didn't get in until after nine this morning. I have a bad sick headache, that I thought was getting better...turns out no. It is getting worse. I swiped a pillow from a co-worker and slept through lunch, but all that did was put sleep lines on my face. I poured myself a big cup of coffee. Maybe that will help some...I don't have my medicine with me. I just got a new box sent to me from my uncle - it's a migraine medicine from Egypt - and I haven't brought any of it to the office. Yeah, yeah, I know...this'll teach me! I called in this morning to say that I was going to be late - I should have said I would see them tomorrow and just stayed in bed this morning!!!

Oh...don't move that way...

I am so sore this morning. Last night we played softball...okay, I haven't swung a bat since about the fourth grade. I didn't do too badly, though, but today my back is letting me know how long it had been!!! I hit about 80%, which I thought was impressive! We didn't really play a game. We had about nine people just hitting around and then hung out after it got too dark to play.

Oh, I am loving this cool weather we are having!!! As Texans, anything below 90 is considered cool and cause for celebration!! Last night I was actually very cold after we quit playing - it was wonderful! I hope it hangs on for a little while. I am not ready for the boiling temperatures to come back. It is a bit overcast today, though.

Okay...I am going to finish Harry Potter THIS WEEK!!! I haven't been able to read much, but I am getting into the really good stuff, so today that is how I plan to spend my lunch break!!!

Later...

Ah Texas...

Where we break out the sweaters if the temperature drops below 80!!! No, I didn't wear one, but only b/c my co-workers would have given me a hard time!! The rain we saw yesterday dramatically brought the temperature down. This morning I put on a pair of shorts and a sleeveless shirt to walk my dog before getting dressed to work...I was cold! It was so great, b/c the temperature has been soaring well above one hundred degrees, with a heat index above that even! I am in short sleeves and capris today...though I always have my cardigan at my desk b/c I am constantly freezing up here!

I am sleepy today. It was pretty hard to get up and get moving...so much in fact I was running a few minutes behind this morning, but I can blame part of that on ironing, too! I got my pants out of the dryer and flattened them out real well (thought I could get away with not ironing them - no chance) and set up the iron. I promise I ironed my pants (w/ starch) three times this morning and now you can't tell I did anything to them. They look horrible!! Oh well...nothing I can do about it now!

Yesterday I had a bit of down time, so I decided to rearrange my office a little bit. The furniture can't really be moved that much, but as far as shelves and plants and pictures are concerned, I think they look a little better now. It was just getting so cluttered that I didn't know what was what anymore!!! I got a lot of my files cleaned up and organized. I have never been one to be terribly organized...that is something else I need to work on.

Now, though, I have some real work that has to be done...so hope you have a good Tuesday!!

Weekend Update

The weekend was good! Nothing too dramatic or too boring...just right! I kept my friends little boy overnight on Friday. It turned out to be great...though I was afraid he was going to cry for his mother the whole time...he didn't cry at all!!! We had a great time! Michael grilled for us and his two brothers came over and the youngest brought his girlfriend! Then Saturday we headed out to Michael's parents house and we all went together to the Waller County Sportman's Extravaganza...they had raffles, live auctions, a fish fry, silent auctions, and vendors of all kinds out there. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet some of Michael's co-workers, too!! After it was over and we headed back to Houston we decided to go see American Wedding, which, surprisingly, turned out to be the best one yet!!! We really liked it!!! Sunday was spent at my parents' - we went over for lunch and hung out with the family until around 6 before heading back home for dinner and to watch Old School. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as funny as I thought it would be. I guess I built it up too much after hearing everyone rave about it...and after American Wedding, there isn't much that could be as funny!!!

So, today it's back to work...as every Monday is! At least we're back at full staff today...we had a couple out last week on vacation so it made for a busy, busy workweek! Now that they are back I just have my own work to do!

Well, I am going to go brush my teeth now...there was a lot of garlic on this salad!! Phew!!

Friday Five

1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country? State - Louisiana; Country - Egypt

2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling? I would have to say being CJ's wife for about five minutes while he declined the offer of a pretty prostitute in Spain!!!!

3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go? Spain - that was my favorite trip; but I would like to see Russia, too.

4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car? Plane, although if trains are a possibility I think that would be nice. I rode a train in Switzerland and it was awesome. I hate traveling long distance by car...I fall asleep!

5. What's the next place on your list to visit? Probably somewhere inside the US...don't know where!!!

Why is it so hard...

to drink a full eight glasses of water a day. If you work an eight hour day that is just one glass every hour - and typically when we pour ourselves a glass of anything it's a lot more than 8 ounces! Eight ounces is a children's cup. So, my plan was to drink one eight ounce glass of water every hour - on the hour! I have an eight glass water dispenser in my office so that I would know how much I had left to drink throughout the day. It couldn't be any easier than that, right!?!?! So, why do I find that it takes me two and sometimes three days to finish the dispenser in my office. I usually have water with dinner, so I know I'm getting a little more, but I cannot drink the eight glasses in one day!!!!

So, that is about as deep as my thoughts have been today!! Can you tell it's time to go home!?!?

A bit o' randomness...

I don't like to drink coffee out of Styrofoam cups...or anything else to be honest!!! I remember when I was little and we would go somewhere that offered coffee in a styrofoam cup my mother would decline b/c she didn't like it. I never really understood b/c my mother was a big coffee drinker, as I have become. Now that I can appreciate (and need) coffee more, I realize why she would just rather not drink it than to drink it out of styrofoam. I can manage a coke out of it, but that's about it!!!! And they were useful when we were counting the numbers of glasses of water we were drinking in a day b/c we marked the outside of our cups with a sharpie every time we filled them up, but that is about the extent of their usefulness!!! (Randomness brought on b/c I filled a styrofoam cup with coffee, but couldn't drink it...so I poured it into my cup once I returned to my office!!!)

On another note, we were going to grill last night, but at the last minute decided to go out to eat and grab a couple movies: Just Married & Old School. We only had time to watch one last night, but tomorrow night we're babysitting for a friend and thought we might be able to watch Old School after the baby went to sleep (maybe)!! Just Married was hysterical...we kept saying, "That's us, me looking at the the art and you looking for a tv to watch sports on!!!" I am anxious to watch the other one, too. I was a big fan of SNL - Will Ferrell is hysterical!! We saw bits and pieces of the movie at Michael's cousins last week. They had it on while we were eating...so we decided it would be a good rental! I hope so...

About the baby-sitting gig! I'm keeping my friend's son, and while I think he is adorable, I hope I can keep him in a good mood!! He is pretty attached to his mother so when he starts to get tired I am afraid he is going to cry for her...and he'll be with me all night!! So, keep your fingers crossed for me...and for him!!!!! My sister kept him over a weekend and said he cried all the time, but that was a while back. He has grown since then and has been around a lot more kids lately, so I think he'll be better adjusted to being away from her.

Saturday after my visitor is picked up, Michael and I are going to Hempstead for the Hunting Extravaganza. There was one last weekend at the George R. Brown, but we were out of town. The whole family is coming out for this, I think - his, not mine! Apparently, it's like a big festival, not just vendors and such. You pay a cover and it is all you can eat/drink and you get entered for drawings and prizes. Sounds like fun!! Michael has co-workers (friends) who live out that way and after all this time I'm finally going to get to meet them. I have heard stories about Bobby and his wife forever and talked to them on the phone, but we have yet to meet. So, that's another reason I am anxious to go!

I think I'll go get myself another cup of coffee...and take my own cup with me this time!

Weekend Update

We had a really good weekend!! Our plans changed around a bit, but it all worked out well. Michael and his brother left for Schulenburg early on Friday and after work I went to play pool. I hadn't been out to do this in a long time...so it was fun to see everyone and catch up! I played for about an hour, but left after that b/c I had invited people back to the apartment and wanted to let Chinook out and make sure things were straight!! Kenny and Elaine, Mandy, John, and Christine came over and we ordered pizza and had drinks and watched a movie. This was inspired b/c Mandy and I are big Sex in the City fans and she told me that Carrie was getting a new beau!! Which led to other discussion about Mikhail Baryshnikov, which eventually brought us round to the renting this movie!!! It was pretty good, too. I enjoyed it!!! (And btw, he looks pretty good in his PR shots for SITC!!!)

Everyone left relatively early and I crashed!! I think I was asleep before they made it out of the gates!!!!!! Saturday morning I was awakened by the phone ringing...it was Michael! They had had a good time the night before...so good his brother was still Zzzing!!!

I got up and dressed and headed to my sister's house for my niece's baby shower, with a stop along the way for a couple last minute party details! We had a really good turnout and she got some really nice things! Afterwards we hung out there for a bit and then I went to mother's for a while before heading home. Michael still wasn't in and soon I got a phone call. They wanted me to come out there, which was the original plan, but in the original plan I wasn't driving alone! It was only about an hour and a half drive, so I sucked it up and headed out - and I am really glad I did. We had a great time! Kevin Fowler was there!! (We're big fans of Texas Country Music!!!) There were people everywhere!! Apparently this festival is a big deal every year!! Aggies and Longhorns were definitely known there a spirit war broke out as we were leaving resulting in the singing of the Aggie Fight Hymn!!! I wasn't an Aggie, but we made many a road trip from Nacogdoches (and Waco) out that way - so I found myself humming along!!

After that the boys (Michael, his brother, and their cousin who lives there) were hungry so we headed to find some food. After that the other two wanted to party some more, but Michael and I were tired - admitting this led to being called old, but by that point I could care less. All I wanted to see was the back of my eye lids!! So, they headed out to a party and we went back to Jason's house and went to sleep! Next morning we had breakfast and headed out to the pasture (that's the majority of the land out that way) to see Jason's cows and check a hog trap they had set the day before. It was empty, but we did see a lot of deer and Elk!! On the way back, after riding in the back of the truck for over and hour, I realized I didn't have my keys anymore. They had been in my pocket and had fallen out!!! I was afraid we were going to backtrack all over the country, but driving back Michael spotted them in the middle of the road near a cattle-guard!!! Thank goodness, b/c if they had fallen under the cattle-guard we might never have found them! Thanks to Eagle-Eyes I didn't have to run around to find a Jeep dealership and get a new key cut!!! I couldn't believe he spotted them!!

So, dilemma over, we headed back to Jason's. I napped a bit and they watched TV and talked and then I got woke up b/c they needed a fourth for dominoes...YES, they woke me up for that!!! And YES I played!

By that time it was getting late so we decided it was time to head back to Houston and reality!! It was a very good weekend. I'll admit I was hesitant about going out there at first, but I am really glad I did and hope we go back next year! Thanks for the invite Jason!!!
